She was predeceased by: her parents, John Potenti and Lydia Potenti (Kohn); her husband James H. Bechtel; her brother Jack Potenti; her nephew John Potenti; her sister Joan Hutchison (Potenti); and her close friend Dick Kreitz.
She is survived by: her nieces, Patricia Kobylus (Leonard) of Salisbury, NC and Kim Emison (David) of Stafford, VA; her nephew James Hutchison (Teresa) of South River, NJ; her cousin Jack Paul; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kristen Abernathy (Zach), Kourtney Garcia (Ron), Kelsey Ausmus (John), Stacey DiPasquale (Joe), Caitlin Emison, David Emison, Nicholas Emison and Joshua Potenti; Justin, Brandon, Aiden, Christian, Diego of Gabriel, A. J., Johnnie, Shawn, Leonodas, Hallie, Delaney and Mary. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
