He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Ann Fleming (James), Clinton Hunter Wambold and Jason Wambold (ZenaBeth); his grandchildren, Zachary Robert Hissim (Kelly), Clinton Paul Wambold (Natasha) and Kyle Michael Wambold; his son Madison Anne Carter (Daniel); his brother Richard "Dick" Wambold (Georgeann); and his sister-in-law Mary. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
