He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob A. Joseph and Emily Sue Joseph (Boulous); and his sisters, Wanda Lauer, Marion Estephan and Marguerite Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanne (Psitos); his children, Rev. Alex Joseph, Danielle of Bethlehem, PA and Erena (Christina) of Easton, PA; his grandchildren, Lily of Bethlehem, PA and Isaak of Bethlehem, PA; and his brothers, Elliot M. Joseph of Nazareth, PA and Jacob L. Joseph, Sr. (Donna) of Easton, PA..
