He is survived by : his wife Mary Wheeler; his children, Robin Snyder (Steve) and Frank R. Weidlich, Jr. (Renee); his former life partner Joan Weidlich; his grandchildren, Steve Snyder, Jr. (Chelsea), Alyssa Janelle Weidlich and Hunter Reid Weidlich; his great grandchildren, Divaya and Rayna Snyder; his sister Nancy Harker (Lawrence); and his stepchildren, Pam Heverly, Susan Shannon (John DeMaria) and David Shannon.

A reception was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stevens Mortuary, Inc. (1421 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at the Stevens Memorial Chapel.
