We bid farewell to Martha Waskovich of Ebensburg, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 22, 2025 at the age of 95. Martha touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Hovanec and Mary Hovanec (Mihalcin); her husband Albert; her son Gary; her grandson Eric Baker; her siblings, John, Joseph, Steven Hovanec, Ann Cicon, Helen Machowski, Mary Loncella and Margaret Hovanec; and her son-in-law Larry Schenk.
She is survived by: her children, Paulette Schenk, Albert Waskovich (Lynn), Pamela Palovich (Michael) and Elaine Shaffer (Patrick); and her brother Andrew Hovanec. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren. 15 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc. (300 N Julian St, Ebensburg, PA 15931). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Holy Name Roman Catholic Church (500 N Julian St, Ebensburg, PA 15931). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Holy Name Cemetery W. High (500 N Julian St, Ebensburg, PA 15931).
