He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, James IV (Ellen) of Forest Hills, Eileen Kiley of Wexford and Sean (Valerie Lewis) of Erie; his sister Maxine Elving of Wayne, NJ.; and his grandchildren, James, Jack and Haley.
