She was predeceased by : her parents, Dwight Carlson and Catherine Carlson; her husband Ronald Ackerman; and her son Lawrence Ackerman. She is survived by : her children, Ronald Ackerman, Jr., Martin Ackerman and Melinda Furry (David); her siblings, Jeffrey Carlson, Frances Grover (Patrick), Helen Remsburg (Tim), Sabrina Bosselman (Dennis) and Tammy Cacek; her pet Katie; and her caregiver Ashley Brown. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
