With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ante Tanfara of Effort, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Tanfara and Antula Tanfara (Baraka); his daughters, Maria Sobrado-Tanfara and Rebecca Sobrado-Tanfaro; and his brother Kris Tanfara.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia Tanfara (Castro) of Effort, PA; his son Victor Sobrado-Tanfara (Tiffany) of Effort, PA.; his grandchildren, Malachi Sobrado-Tanfara, Tianna-Marie Sobrado-Tanfara and Caleb Ante Sobrado-Tanfara of Effort, PA.; and his sister Olga Govic (Joso) of Jersey City, NJ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
