With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christine S. Gallagher of Effort, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 18, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Hamilton and Christine Hamilton (Johnson); her husband William Gallagher; and her brothers, Matthew, Daniel and Alexander Hamilton.

She is survived by: her children, Christine Erhardt (Richard Whiteford) of Effort, PA, Linda Maldonado (Mark) of Edgewater, MD and Thomas Gallagher (Ashlie) of Colorado City, CO.; her grandchildren, Matthew Erhardt of Effort, PA, Victoria Gallagher of Colorado City, CO, Lillian Erhardt of Effort, PA, Cory Maldonado of Edgewater, MD, Rosalia Maldonado of Edgewater, MD and Aidan Whiteford of Effort, PA.; and her brother James Hamilton (Betty) of Scotland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, three stepchildren, and many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
