He was predeceased by : his parents, Salvatore Mele and Nerina "Nettie" Mele (Curcio); and his brother-in-law Michael Fusco. He is survived by : his wife Linda Mele (Fusco) of Effort, PA; his daughters, Lauren Mele (Adrienne Haught) of Los Angeles, CA and Samantha Mele (Liz Mele) of Harrisburg, PA.; his siblings-in-law, Louis Fusco (Diana) of Tampa, FL, Thomas Fusco (Melanie) of Satellite Beach, FL and Wanda Fusco of Newark, NJ.; his nieces and nephews, Robert Fusco (Melanie), Cameron Lindsey, Michael Fusco, Adam Fusco (Victoria), Nicolette Fusco (Eric) and Isabella Fusco; and his grand-pups, Romeo, Oliver and Indy.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (1426 US-209, Gilbert, PA 18331). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (1402 US-209, Brodheadsville, PA 18322).
