We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2023, at the age of 84, Carla Jean Ackerman of Eighty Four, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her son Sherman IV. She is survived by : her husband Sherman Ackerman III; her daughters, Sherry Ingram (Dan), Nancy Flemming (Wheeler) and Cynthia Petro; her grandchildren, Jennifer Ingram, Jessica Prosperi, Emily Horn, Carla Sullivan, Wheeler Flemming Jr., Kate Mayowski, Daniel Sherman Ackerman, Matthew Petro and Kelly Neely; and her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Amelia Prosperi, Ella Jean Horn, Redmond, Adeline, George, Spike Sullivan, Parker, Mary Wallace, Collier Petro, Hayes, Olivia Neely and Enola Mayowski.
