He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Detwiler and Emma Elizabeth Detwiler (Isenberg); his wife Ruth A. Detwiler (Mumich); and his children, Kathie Cessna and Bruce Detwiler.
He is survived by: his family Sundays; his sons, Robert D. Detwiler (Kathy) of Worthington, Gary E. Detwiler (Donna) of Dayton and Scott D. Detwiler (Charlotte) of Punxsutawney; his children-in-law, Richard Cessna of Girty and Jodie Detwiler of Cranberry Twp; and his grandchildren, Janice Cessna (Larry Finkel), Erik Detwiler (Jessica Meeder), Garrett Detwiler (Jaye Bruening), Matthew Detwiler (LaKiesha), Christy Welton (Seth), Erin Brant (Jason), Brianna Seyler (Aaron), Tiffany Anthony (Detwiler) and Ryan Detwiler.
