He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Werner and Bessie Werner (Wilson); and his siblings, John, Eugene, Fredrick, Willard, Wayne Werner, Luella Shoemaker and Mary Opfer. He is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews; and 3 great-great-great nieces.
