We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2025, at the age of 94, Daniel J. Capner Jr. of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel J. Capner, Sr. and Anna Hamburg (Rengowski); his sisters, Bertha Dvorsky (John), Mary Spishock (Steve) and Regina Moses Noss (Ernie); and his siblings' children, Karen Moses, Pamela Moses, Mildred Bobuk, Stephen Spishock and Jeff Spishock.
He is survived by: his extended family, Debra Spishock of Swissvale, Darla Lynn (Bob) of White Oak, Scott Spishock (Dottie) of Greenock, Donna Poole (Larry) of Indiana, Mike Moses (Norma) of New Mexico, Steve Moses (Marlena) of Baden and Shell Whortney (John) of Economy Boro. He is also survived by nieces / nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory (6028 Smithfield St, McKeesport, PA 15135). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
