He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Oates Sr. and Clara Oates (Barton); and his wife Glenda Ann Oates (Trumpe). He is survived by: his children, Glenn Oates (Tammy) of Elizabeth, Frank Oates (Renee) of Forward Twp and Debbie Oates of Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Timi Lee (James), Glenn David, Frankie IV and Shane; his great grandchildren, Daniel, DeJuanna, Danika, Bo James, Zander, Nyiah and Juliete; and his siblings, Gary Oates (Kathy), Bruce Oates (Helen) and Clara DeMaio. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home (221 N 2nd Ave, Elizabeth, PA 15037). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
