It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Lou Stefanic of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Melissa Lou departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Melissa Lou may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Melissa Lou leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ventresca and Kathleen Ventresca (Dunlap); and her sister Patricia Goldsworthy. She is survived by: her husband Robert J. "Bob" Stefanic; her sons, James F. Stefanic (Angela) of Pittsburgh and Samuel R. Stefanic (Sasha) of Upper St; her grandson James R. Stefanic; and her nephew John Goldsworthy (Crystal).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
