He was predeceased by : his parents, Dave Contrella and Nellie Contrella (Melegari). He is survived by : his wife Jane Contrella (Pasternak); his sons, Richard J. Contrella of Franklin Park and Robert Contrella (Gloria) of Valencia; his grandchildren, Nathan Contrella (Stephany), Ben Contrella (Taryn), Elizabeth Baldelli (Nico) and James Contrella; his great grandchildren, Maxwell and Braxon; and his sister Nancy Arnold of Elizabeth Township.
