She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Sweigart and Ruth Sweigart (Kipp); her husband David E. Shearer; her son David Shearer; her daughter-in-law Sukey; her daughter Linda Shearer; and her great grandchild Blake Shearer.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven Shearer (Pamela) of Bainbridge and John Shearer (Sabine) of Bainbridge; and her sister Nettie Wenger. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
