With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene H. Trimmer of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, born in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 92. As we bid adieu to Arlene's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Arlene has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Miller M. Hess and Almeda Ruhl Hess; her spouse Russell Tyler Trimmer; and her sister JoAnn Zimmerman. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Starr (Vaughn Starr), Thomas Trimmer (Wendy Trimmer) of Punta Gorda, FL and Michael Trimmer (Gina Meckley) of Harrisburg, PA; and her sisters, Molly Glazewski of Rapid City, SD, Janet Nerling of Silver City, NM and Carole Farrow of Demming, NM.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
