She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Burns and Thelma Burns (Snavely); her former husband Charles Bomgardner; her husband Frederick "Bill" Gestewitz; and her brother Robert Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Bomgardner (June) of Elizabethtown, Bradly Bomgardner (Tammy) of Elizabethtown, Shelley Bowles (Michael) of Elizabethtown and Holly Martin of Elizabethtown; and her brother Jay Burns of Middletown. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
