He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas L. Unger and Estelle Unger (Conn). He is survived by: his wife Susan Kauffman; his children, Cullen Unger, Alec Unger, Justin Howes (Amie) and Travis Howes (Roma); his grandchildren, Austin, Chase, Sophia, Adelyn and Teagen; and his brother Tom Unger (Susan).
