He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Burris and Dessie C. Schaeffer Burris; and his children, Kathy F. Hostetter and Robert C. Brady. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy M. Miller Scheaffer; his children, Gary D. Scheaffer of Middletown, Debra A. Wolfgang of Palmyra, Keith A. Scheaffer (Monica Leon) of Gainesville, FL, Susan K. (Geoffrey Grogan) of Elizabethtown and Scott D. (Christina Bitner Scheaffer) of Middletown; and his son-in-law George G. Hostetter. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
