He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton G. Swope and Ruth Swope (Landis); his son Kenneth Swope; and his siblings, Nany Fitzkee and Gene Swope.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Swope (Eshelman); his daughter Carol A. Tucker (David); his grandsons, Zachary Tucker (Heather), Douglas Swope (Corinna), Kory Swope (Stephanee) and Kery Swope (Brenna); his great grandchildren, Harrison, Kenny, Abby, Lily, Ila, Kody, Joey, Bradley and Daniel; and his sister Julia Rodkey (Demuth). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1290 River Rd, Marietta, PA 17547).
