He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Vuxta and Margaret Vuxta (Schmidt); his daughter Christina Erb; and his grandsons, Scotty Erb and Gabriel Lerch.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Jeffrey Vuxta (Tammy) of Bainbridge, Brian Vuxta (Ada) of Highspire, Timothy Vuxta (Amy) of Elizabethtown and Jennifer Miller (Christopher) of Lebanon; his son-in-law Fred Erb of Mount Joy; and his grandchildren, Brad, Alicia, Heidi, Kristin, Elizabeth, Sydney, Isabella, Angelina and Milena.
