It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fredric B. Koch of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge Kenneth H. Koch and Annabelle Koch (Barto). He is survived by: his wife Susan Elizabeth Koch; his daughters, Rebecca Bumgardner Ritt (Steve) and Nancy Ann Derby; his grandchildren, Rachel Keith (Willie), Sarah Snotherly (Josh), Emily Bumgardner, Tyler Derby, Nathan Derby and Brandon Derby; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Violet Keith, Cora and Mabel Snotherly; his brother David Koch (Denise); and his nephew Ian (Alyssa).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the John's. Sell Memorial Chapel, Masonic Village, Elizabethtown (200 Freemason Dr, Elizabethtown, PA 17022). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Fred's memory to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children, reflecting his lifelong commitment to service and care for others.
