He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. W. Ruth, Sr. and Oberita Ruth (Gotwalt); his wife Greta Lorraine DeShong; and his siblings, Rox Anne Ruth, Joseph Ruth, Jr., Larry Ruth, John Ruth, Brenda Hill and Marlyn Ruth.
He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley Keefer (Michael), Anthony Ruth (Fran) and Michael Ruth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory (130 N Market St, Elizabethtown, PA 17022). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Cemetery (197 Pioneer Dr, St Thomas, PA 17252).
