He was predeceased by: his mother Leslie Kiess (Newman). He is survived by: his father Ronald Kiess; his brother Cody Kiess; his grandmothers, Dona Newman (Yegle) and Arlene Kiess; and his friends, Matthew Hoffer, Jordan Minick, Zach Snyder, Blaike Kessler and Zev Stark.
