With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Marie Bame of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Bame and Betty J. Hair (Fox); and her brother Barry Hair. She is survived by: her siblings, Terry L. Hair of Fredericksburg, VA, Richard Hair (Joanne) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Donna Keller of Middletown, PA and Eileen Johns of Myrtle Beach, SC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory (25 W Pine St, Palmyra, PA 17078). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM.
