He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael 'Max Tondora and Caroline Tondora (Bast); his wife Nancy Tondora (Brown); and his sister Elizabeth Tondora. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa; his son-in-law Sekhar Ramaswamy; his children, Marcia Tondora and Stephen; his daughter-in-law Alice; and his grandchildren, Sara Ramaswamy and John D. Tondora.
