He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Geraldine Gontz (Flora) of Lancaster and John Wyatt Samson Sr.; his stepfather George Gontz; his wife Beth (Kauffman); his stepchildren, Nicholas DiCostanzo of Philadelphia and Kelly DiCostanzo of Elizabethtown; his half-brother Todd Gontz (Karen) of Lancaster; and his mother-in-law Sally Kauffman of Lancaster.
