We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2023, at the age of 90, Joseph E. McIntyre of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, born in Atlantic City, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McIntyre and Eleanor McIntyre; his siblings, Donald McIntyre, Paul McIntyre, Joan Cooper (McIntyre) and Marie Tevis (McIntyre); and his siblings-in-law, John "Jack" Cooper, Richard "Dick" Tevis, Andrew Scott Jr., Donald Mitchell, Mary McIntyre (Solis) and Dorothy Scott (Whitney).
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne McIntyre (Scott); his children, Diane McIntyre (Thomas Tinsman), Joseph McIntyre (Linda), Donna Broome (Robert) and Thomas McIntyre (Leigh); and his sisters-in-law, Rosalie McIntyre (Weber) and Virginia Mitchell (Scott). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to The American Heart Association.
