He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis R. Escobar and Irene Escobar (Mohn). He is survived by: his stepsiblings, Steve Fleck of Lebanon and Deborah D'angelo (James) of New Cumberland; his sisters-in-law, Martha Bohner (William) of Northumberland, Mary Hollenbach (Timothy) of Northumberland and Mitzie Kerstetter (Guy) of Northumberland; and his husband Mike. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
