It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Swope of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob G. Swope and Mabel Swope (Sipling); his grandson Justin Swope; and his siblings, Jay J. Swope, Alma Johnson, Laverne Swope, Erma Aungst, Clarence Swope and Geraldine Hoffer.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Swope (Fittery); his children, Marlin J. Swope (Kathy) of Elizabethtown and Lori Keener (Keith) of Elizabethtown; his grandson Brent Swope (Vanessa Royal); his children, Ryan Swope (Jenna), Mariah Keener and Haley Keener; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Brielle and Serenity Swope.
