He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Raymond and Alma Mae Witmer Shadle; and his wife Sandra E. Smith Shadle. He is survived by: his children, Crystal E, Rhonda L. Martin of Elizabethtown and Ronald E. Shadle, Jr. (Shannon) of Hummelstown; his grandchildren, Ashley, Mark, Kalie, Tyler, Gage and Clayton; his great grandchildren, Cole, Caleb, Carson, Audrey, Elijah, Remi and Leo; and his sister Gloria Linda Mae Reed (Thomas) of Belle Grove.
