He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Pfleger and Katharina Pfleger (Mock); his brother Anton; and his granddaughter Rebecca Cvek. He is survived by: his wife Elaine C. Pfleger (DeStefano); his children, Rudolf Pfleger, Jr. (Cheryl), Anita Mahoney (Timothy) and Christine Cvek (Scott); and his stepchildren, Edward "Red" Birch, Jr. (Patricia), Elaine Williams (Scott) and James Birch (Elizabeth).
