Steven E. Bender Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven E. Bender (Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren H. Bender and Betty Bender (Leaman); and his wife Nelda M. Bender (Forry). He is survived by: his sons, Duane (Ralna Bender) of Lititz and Dustin; his mother-in-law Megan Bender of Oxford; his grandchildren, Stephaine, Garrett, Raelyn, Dinah, Penny and Olivia; and his siblings, Warren M. Bender, Sandra L. (Donald G. Kopp) and Tracy L. (Allen J. Shissler). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the West Green Tree Church of the Brethren (740 Greentree Rd, Elizabethtown, PA 17022). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
