He was predeceased by: his father Ever. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Allen; his mother Patricia McSparran Yates; his siblings, J. Mitchell Yates (Robin) and Amy Zabiegalski (Ed); and his nephew Robert Yates (Morgan). He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
