We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2023, at the age of 83, Elizabeth J. Mattern of Elizabethville, Pennsylvania, born in Wiconisco, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John L. Sr. Cessna and Margaret K. Kolva Cessna; her husband Robert R. Mattern Sr.; and her brothers, David and James Cessna.

She is survived by : her children, Norma Novinger (David), Barbara Klinger (David), Robert Mattern Jr. (Bridget) and David Mattern (Tammy); her grandsons, Bradley Mattern (Jessica), Justin Mattern (Shana), Loyalton and Robert Mattern III (Julie); her great grandchildren, Sidney, Emma and Inez; and her siblings, John Cessna Jr. (Dorothy), Margaret Arnold of Lykens and Sandra Heilman (Donald) of Lykens. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
