Gary Erdman Obituary

In loving memory of Gary Erdman of Elizabethville, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on June 23, 2025 at the age of 74. Gary leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Junior Wayne and Romaine Eleanor Erdman (Mattern); his brother Randy L. Erdman; and his grandparents, Margaret, Leon Mattern, Mabel and Lewis Erdman.

He is survived by: his daughters, Shana Erdman of Millersburg and Jamie Byrnes (Andrew) of Harrisburg; his sister Cindy Miller (Mike) of Elizabethville; his grandchildren, Waylon Troutman of Millersburg, Olivia and Emily Byrnes of Harrisburg; his nieces and nephews, Madison Germani (Erik) of Lykens, Miana Gessner (Matt) of Elizabethville, Michael Miller of Elizabethville and Jason Erdman (Sheila) of State College; his aunt Dorene; and his uncle Butch Hawley of Millersburg.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
