We bid farewell to Joyce DeSera of Elkland, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 27, 2026 at the age of 96. Joyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Paul and Gladys Paul (Waddell); her husband Joseph A. DeSera; her son Danny L. DeSera; and her siblings, Richard, Mike, David Paul and Arline Paul.
She is survived by: her son Allen J. DeSera; her granddaughter Amber Tiikkala (Randy); and her great grandchildren, Alyse Tiikkala and Aaron Tiikkala. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
