It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Stein of Emeigh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barnosky and Grace Barnosky (Layton); her husband Walter H. Stein; and her siblings, John, Peter Barnosky and Wanda Stein.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Varner (Bryan), Walter Stein, Robert Stein (Charlee "CJ"), Trista Stein (Ronald Shaffer) and Patton; her siblings, Billy Barnosky, Diane Wesche and George Barnosky; and her close friend Don Leamer. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc. (1303 Bigler Ave, Northern Cambria, PA 15714). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
