He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Hirsch and Rebecca Hirsch-Martin; his brothers, Ted and Richard Hirsch (Dick); and his grandson Orrie Maurhoff.
He is survived by: his sisters, Wilma Weaver (Glenn) of Franklin and Emma Hurrelbrink of Kossuth; his children, David W. Hirsch, Jr. (Denise) of Dunn, NC and Heidi S. Maurhoff (Brad) of Norwalk, WI; his grandchildren, Kyle Hirsch (Justina) of Knox, Adam Hirsch of Dunn, NC and Wyatt Maurhoff of Norwalk, WI; and his great grandchildren, Sophie of Knox, Easton of Knox and Rylie Hirsch of Knox. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Nickleville Presbyterian Church (169 Valley Church Rd, Emlenton, PA 16373).
