She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harold and E. Marie Hays Beels; her husband Eugene K. "Gene" Best; her siblings, William Beels, Glenn Beels and Eleanor Ann Beels; her grandson Brady Best; and her brother-in-law Wilmer "Bill" Heath.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Wilkinson (Frank) of Polk, Thomas E. Best (Sandi) of Emlenton, Scott Best (Marcia) of Emlenton, Robert A. Best (Christina) of Parker and Douglas E. Best (Susan) of Rutland, VT; her grandchildren, Stefanie Best, Darcy Best, Brian Best (Katy), James Best (Ashley), Brittney Best, Katelyn Best, Evan Best (Racheal), Nate Best and Justin Best; her stepgrandchildren, Ally and Jon Hall; her great grandchildren, Taylor, Harlow, Theo and Easton; her sister Shirley Heath of Lamartine; and her sisters-in-law, Ida Beels of Slippery Rock and Doris Beels of Carlisle. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nickleville Presbyterian Church.
