It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Wallace Hickman of Emlenton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hickman and Eleanore Hickman (Vorous); his grandfather Vorous; his daughter Lauren Best (Pat Best); his great grandchild Andrew Wallace Swartfager; and his siblings, Rita Wilmouth (Jean) of Pittsburgh and Ronald Hickman.
He is survived by: his uncle Wilbur Hickman; his wife Gayle (Ritts); his children, Denny Hickman (Jane Barber) of Emlenton, PA and Amy Hickman of Arvada; his son-in-law Pat Best; and his grandchildren, Jake Hickman (Kendall), Jessica Fresch (Josh), Cassidy Best, Annie Swartfager (Dustin), Melissa Hickman, Nathan Best (Danni), Elaine Best, Max Hickman and Ben Hickman. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
