He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer E. Long and Vivian Long; and his son Tyler D. Long. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Long (Shollenberger); his children, Jennifer Strobl (Rodney), Kara Kroh (Eric) and Thomas Long (Tammy); his grandchildren, Jessa (John), Taylor, Thomas, Trenton, Kevin (Shalease), Justin, Jared (Alexis) and Cassidy; his great grandchildren, KJ, Saj and Harper; his brother James Long (Barbara); his children, Michelle and Eric; his sister Judy Watson (Jon); and his daughter Kris.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ocean City Reef Foundation: Tyler Long Reef, P.O. Box 1072, Ocean City, MD 21843.
