She was predeceased by : her husband Paul C. Hartzell, Sr.; her parents, Mervin Kuhns and Edna G. Kuhns (Mangold); her sons, Paul C. Jr. and Arthur M.; and her siblings, Lewis, Norman, Raymond, Paul, Viola, Eleanor, Mary Lou and Doris.

She is survived by : her children, William L. (Monalisa) of Ashland, Viola F. (John Ritter) of Emmaus, Reuben R. (Arminda) of Lansford and Lewis N. (Karen) of Emmaus; and her brother Arthur Kuhns of Breinigsville. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
