It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James A. Schmoyer of Emmaus, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Schmoyer and Cora Schmoyer (Rau); and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Nadine Schmoyer; and his children, Eric Schmoyer (Anabella), Kimberly Mac Iver (Allen), Allyson Nelson (Craig) and Jesse Shaffer (Erica). He is also survived by grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home (225 Elm St, Emmaus, PA 18049). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has designated the American Heart Association (https://www.heart.org) for memorial contributions.
