He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Kuhns and Myrtle Kuhns (Schaffer); his son Dale A. Kuhns; his great grandchild Angel Schell; and his stepmother Anna Kuhns.

He is survived by : his wife Donna M. Kuhns (Sames); his son Donald R. Kuhns (Diane); his daughters-in-law, Joy Kuhns and Ann Kuhns; and his sister Barbara Kennedy. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren; and 10 Great -Grandchildren.
