He was predeceased by : his father Doran Richardson; his son Alexander Richardson; his brother Doran Richardson, Jr.; his grandparents, Stanley, Mary McCloskey, Harry and Fern Richardson; and his brothers-in-law, Jesse and Stephen Szemes, Jr..

He is survived by : his mother Patricia McCloskey Richardson of Windber, PA; his spouse Tracy Szemes; his children, Madison Richardson, Cooper Richardson, Alex Reed (Chandra), Cori Reed (Lori) and Ryan Reed (Keri); his grandchildren, Sheamus and Avery; his siblings, Sharon Richardson of Windber, PA, Douglas Richardson (Tracy) of Chardon, OH, Shelly Richardson of Elton, PA, Daniel Richardson of Davidsville, PA and Susan Herald (James) of Portage, PA; and his sisters-in-law, Karen McManigle (David), Christine Williams of Bloomfield Hills, MI and Debra Belin (Scott). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
