He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah Farner (Engle); his brother Robert Farner; and his father Herbert Farner Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Judy Farner (Barnett); his children, Matthew Farner of Lewisberry, PA, Scott Gutshall (Sharon) of Guyton Ga and Sherry Gutshall of Harrisburg, PA.; his grandchildren, Breana Stewart of Enola, PA, Cameron Gutshall of Ormond Beach, FL, Braeden Farner of Lewisberry Pa, Ana-Paola Gutshall of Harrisburg, PA and Makenna Farner of Lewisberry, PA.; and his siblings, Donnie Farner (Tracey), Gary Farner (Rosella), Jeanne Bobish and Larry Farner (Joyce).
